Floral and amber, sweet and feminine, La Vie est Belle

This fragrance for women was created in 2012 for Lancôme by three French master perfumers, Olivier Polge, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion. An Eau de Parfum that represents a hymn to happiness and femininity, expressed in the same exclamation that gives it its name: life is beautiful! The result is a luminous, graceful and sweet fragrance, at once fruity and floral, delicate and intense, which reveals the full potential of the most precious ingredient: the iris. An exquisite formula that opens with juicy blackberries and sweet pears, unfolds a heart of jasmine, orange blossom and the exceptional aroma of iris, enhanced by vegetal and fruity notes. The base is a gourmand delight with warm notes of Haba Tonka, praline and vanilla, enriched with the sensual depth of patchouli sustainably sourced in Bali.

The emblematic flacon of La Vie est Belle, which reinvents the original version from 1949, expresses a delicate smile engraved in precious crystal. The perfume muse, of course, could only be the most famous Hollywood smile, a living expression of beauty and happiness: Julia Roberts. With the aim of using less glass and making the bottle sustainable, the refillable design was launched in 2022, under the slogan “Make tomorrow beautiful.” Ideal to wear during the day and night, and in all seasons of the year, especially Winter and Autumn.
