The House of Versace was founded in Milan in 1978 by the talented designer Gianni Versace with the opening of a women's boutique on Via della Spiga. In less than a couple of decades it had already become one of the most powerful and famous brands in the world. Prêt-à-porté, Haute Couture, accessories, fragrances, hotels... the Versace brand covers almost everything and never goes unnoticed. Despite the 1997 tragedy of its founder's death, the family business continued to grow under the vision of his sister Donatella.
